Flat to transfer from Father to daughter

My father-in-law wants to give his noida flat as a gift to my wife (his daughter). I don't have any idea how to do this in legal terms.Please advice

for that your father in law has to execute a gift deed in favour of your wife. you have to paid stamp duty and court fees for that which is around 7%. the gift deed will be execute either in noida or where your father in law is residing.

सबसे पहले आप किसी अधिवक्ता से मिलकर गिफ्ट डीड तैयार कराइए उसके बाद दो गवाह तथा करने वाले व्यवसाय प्राप्त करने वाले चारों पहुंचकर इस गिफ्ट डीड पर संबंधित शुल्क देकर ऑनलाइन करा कर रजिस्ट्री कार्यालय नोएडा में जहां भी स्थित है जहां भी यह भूमि स्थित है उसके आसपास ही होगा वहां पर इसको रजिस्टर कराने गिफ्ट डीड रजिस्टर करा ले गिफ्ट

a gift deed will have to be executed. the process is the same is that of execution of sale deed. 6 percent stamp duty on the circle rate of the property will be attracted om this gift deed. engage a local lawyer to walk you through the process.
