First Cousin Marriage India- Please help

17-Mar-2024 (In Family Law)
Me and my first cousin are hindus from Kerala, India. We want to get married, but from my research it seems it wouldn’t be possible, even under the special marriage act. We do not have such customs either. I was wondering if signing an affidavit saying we are atheists, would help us enforce a different law , that i am not aware of. If not would it be an issue if me and my cousin live together, without us being married.

There is no issues if you both live together . Though the roti ally , marriage between prohibited decrees of relationships are there , on a practical point of view all these are happening.. so you can proceed with marriage also
