Filed a FIR against in laws but police not taking any action

25-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
Due to husband and inlaws money demand and torture i have submitted written complain in cp office. complain came to police station and PSI redirected me to the Mahila cell where i have given details about the torture and money demand. now complain came to police station again to lodge FIR. my queries are 1. its been 15 days but police is not yet lodge FIR, not sure why they are delaying every time police says complain i snot yet reached to me , but 15 days back i have checked with dispatch dept complain copy with my answer from mahila cell has been reached. 2. At this stage will my in laws do something to delay this FIR 3. Another point when my in laws came to know about the complain suddenly they changed and now they are asking me to come back, if i go back at this stage what will be drawback? will my complain close due to compromise and i will not be able to lodge 498 again?

when police is not giving response to your complaint then if you have to give written complaint in the concern police station and police have not given recive copy to you first of all try to meet senior police inspector of the concern police station . in case you have not satisfied those method then after visit my office for legal suggestion

Firstly you have to decide what you want to do, you want's to file F.I.R. against your in laws or you want's to go back to your husband's house for cohabitation if you compromise the matter then you cannot file F.I.R against your in laws
