dear Sir, you need not repay the loan amount for the loan got by your father. what your father has given to you shall be treated as gift. gift cannot be taken back. if your father got the loan he can repay it from his property and assets and you are not obliged to repay the amount. still there is a duty as a son to do it to your father where you need to take care of him, but the duty to take care need to be in a way for repayment of his loan.
