Father is mentally abusing my mother since their marriage.

Father always disrespects mom regardless of time and place. I remember him driving my mother into a state of shock with his abusing behaviour when I was little. My mother kept shut all these while. He is retired from his govt job. He, I think is a mental patient. I am tired of hearing him cursing my mother with lewd remarks, shouting. I am a man in 30s struggling to make money in arts profession and i want to move out with mom. Is there a way where i file a case for monetary support ?

yes you can surely file a case with seeking monetary compensations and will always request you to understand the pros and cons and what would you get from the entirity is very important and moreover jumping into something without having full knowledge can be disastrous
