False complaint filed by Brother's wife against me

Dear Sir, Myself residing in Bangalore city. We are four children (2 sons and 2 daughters). I am the eldest. My father owns few properties and gets rent from the same. All the transactions are handled by him. My younger brother expired two years back. My brother's wife , now a Widow and she is residing with my father . All of us are living separately. My mother had also expired few years back. Recently My brother's wife used to threaten , abuse my father for property. When me and my sisters intervened, my brother's wife raised false complaint with local police station, that we are harassing her. My father is also scared of her and keeping quite. Can i initiate complaint against her for filing false complaint upon us? Is there any legal solution please?
Is FIR registered against you and your father? Or just a complaint? Any ways, the dispute is in civil nature and brothers wife need not file any complaint with police. You can approch High Court under s438 of CrPC and quash it with a direction to police not harass any one in your family.

Hi.. First and foremost important thing is if the property is self acquired by your father then no one has right to claim it unless he wishes to relinquish to those of his choice. If someone is threatening him like your sister in law then I suggest to record such incidents without her knowledge and seek support of neighbours so that they are aware of her behavior. After which produce the evidence in court if FIR is registered and charge sheet submitted.

The Indian laws are in favor of married women more so in favor of widow. Please learn escape formula and learn to survive yourself. The Police and Courts believe the words of widows and you will booked and sent behind bars. Be away from that woman and save yourself and your family.
