Ex boyfriend blackmailing me what can I do

My ex boy is harasing me since one year by giving calls I blocked all new contacts so he is not able to call me, but now he started writing letters that i am his wife and that I should join him if not he would die in front of my Office or file a court case aginst me. I am married (49 Yrs) and have two children aged 16 & 13. My husband lives in Chennai and I cant share he is always doubtful. Pl help, I dont feel comfortable going to Police Station as i fear they might misuse me. I was in love with him during 91 to 94 i married in 1998 as per my parents choice, After 20 Yrs he is troublng me
It is very sensitive matter, but take courage and tell your husband everything and file a complaint against your ex-boyfriend.

May be you don't need to approach to police as they scandalize it but it's also fact that only police in these cases are to carry investigation ,hence you can approach us we can make arrangements that without your identity being out ,you get relief at early stage as ,in these kind of situation your life or children can have very difficult time ,hence better you take early step in this regard. You have not disclosed whether boy friend is having any documentary proof with him to show your relationship. Secondly it's difficult to go against him without the support of your husband or your family members. Whatever the difficulty you are facing now is to be discussed with your family members to take right legal action against him. Thirdly you must be brave enough to face this type of situation. You can file a police complaint against him with the letters he sent to you or any other material you got against him.
