enquiry regarding my fathers house. proprty rights .thats my enquiry.

I have a brother .my father passed away before 10years. My younger brother is stating that the house which my dad constructed does only belong to him according to Indian law.is that true?

Not so, all the legal heirs including your mother has equal share in the intestate properties left by your father. check do you have property documents, your father's death certificate nd Legal heir certificate to proceed.

according to Indian law all the legal Heirs are entitled for equal share under Hindu law then one third of the share two wife and remaining two third to the children's sorry brother cannot claim entire property give a legal notice after legal notice your brother is not came forward to divide the property write to file partition suit get your father share in the property
