Domestic Violence Act when husband missing

11-Feb-2023 (In Family Law)
My husband is missing when I was 3 months pregnant after hitting. I gave birth to a daughter who is 20 months old now. I have filed a missing complaint and also 498A case in Pune. I am currently staying in Guwahati with my mother and brother. I had to leave my job to take care of my daughter. I want maintenance and alimony and want to file a domestic violence case under Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and also file a divorce however I do not know the whereabouts of my husband. What are the options I have, I do not have money to survive and had to take loans to manage my and my daughter's expenses.

What I can make out from the matter is you had last stayed at Pune from where your husband disappeared . You can file for divorce at Guwahati as marriage was solemnised here only. I think you must be having his residential address to send notices .
