Merely by depositing amount in your account does not mean that it is your exclusive property unless you able to prove that it was your father 's intention to give it you exclusively. It is also important to know that what was the source of that money.

Legally , you have to share the amount because all have equal right over your father's amount. However there is a way out. Contact a good lawyer, apprise him about all facts, relevant papers/documents and act accordingly as per his advice

You don't need to give the money back as your father has every right to give you the money as per his sweet will. After death of your father, you have definite share in the property of your father. If your mother and other co-sharers are not ready to give you the share, you can very well file a Partition Suit for the same in the Civil Court.
