Does grandson have any right over grandfather's property?

My grandfather had 4 brothers and only 1 is alive now. There was no proper distribution made for the property. Further, my FATHER expired and I have not received any property of my grandfather property. how can I claim my right if I am not getting it . Also , presently case is going out in high court for the property filed by the 1 alive for past 25 years. its been 25 years can I claim any income which they have received from use of property.

You can claim your right by filing a suit for partition of property by clearly providing your legal right and part. You can also became a party in the proceedings pending about the same property if any. And you can claim money from the use of property too.

My dear friend , it is depends on facts and circumstances, actually you are satating that your case is pending and sub judice in the High court regarding the property, So we should not give any comments, without going into the merits. if you are party to the suit then first you go through the case facts and discussed with your counsel. Because of what you have taken grounds in the case that will be more important. As per my opinion you can claim your right if your father not received his right in grandfathers' property.
