Disowned son wants to get a divorce
27-May-2023 (In Family Law)
If a husband(who's already disowned by his parents) wants to get a divorce, can his wife involve his parents legally in filing FIR or may be in the case?
No, she can not. Provided she never lived and was never subjected to any violence at their hands. If they all lived together at any point of time, she can involved them in Domestic Violence Case.
If they never lived together, then she can't.

She can. Also the time here plays a very important role. It totally depends on when was the son disowned. But she can involve all the family members in filing FIR on different grounds. Please share details for further assistance.

That depends on the facts and circumstances. If the alleged incident is of the date back when the husband was not disowned legally, then yes! If the alleged incident for which a complaint has been registered is after the date when the husband was disowned then parents can't be involved in the F.I.R.
Lastly, Divorce case does not need involvement of the parents. only husband and wife.
