Definition of word ‘parents‘ in ews notification 2019

Do step mother property is also included with me in determining eligibility for ews as word parents is mention . My both biological parent are dead . My step mother is childless but i am not legal adopted Will she included in my parent definition as per India judicial ? .

The 2019 DoPT notification does not specifically address non-adoptive stepmothers under the EWS family definition. Since your biological parents are deceased and you were not legally adopted, the inclusion of your stepmother's property requires legal interpretation of the applicable EWS rules.
