Dear concern, my wife has filed false complaints 498a, DV and sec125 demanding separate house against me and my family. She has presented mine and my father's property documents to court. Please advice if I can file any case against my wife for stealing property documents.

Dear Sir, Nobody including your wife cannot take away your valuables including property documents without your consent. Sometimes police may not register theft case then you can register the same by approching Magistrate under Section 200 of Cr.P.C. In the meanwhile you can get an Endorsement from the police about lodging of complaint and try to get duplicate copies of originals. You may also approach Civil Court and take injunction order against your wife not to misuse original documents.
