Correct date in marriage certificate
07-Jan-2023 (In Family Law)
My marriage invitation card says Panigrahan Sanskar at Nov 15th 2019 11:15 pm(late night). I got my marriage certificate issued as per the date and time noted on the invitation card which had to be submitted to the registrar. All the witnesses also signed that marriage took place on Nov 15th. But actually the ceremony event got postponed by 4 hours because the groom arrived late. So is it ok keep the Nov 15th 2019 date as my marriage date or should I request registrar to change the date to Nov 16th 2019?
Now It's ohkay to keep the 15th November 2019 as your marriage date because everything is almost done as you said invitation card submitted witnesses also signed.
But still if you want 16th November as your marriage date on certificate then you may request the registrar but for that you need to follow complete process again.
if you have any question feel free to ask
