Complaint against sister's in laws for domestic violence and cruelty.

Hi Sir, my sister is experiencing lots of problem is her in lows house. Her husband all time abusing her as well as my family. My parents also not support my sister they are saying that you have to live your whole life there. Our society never except you. My sister is suffering Sir, she is having a child. Can you please advise and tell me what should I need to do to save her life and make her life peaceful? Please advice Sir.

Hello, After going through your query I figure out that this is a pure case of mental cruelty and your sister is suffering the same alongwith her child but unfortunately you cannot do anything until and unless she being the complainant files a complaint case in the magistrate court of mental cruelty she should simultaneously give a representation in the National Womens Commission there are even various helpline numbers today for complaints of domestic violence as well so please give her the support and let her approach the court this way she can save her future in that house. Your problem is very serious in nature. Immediately you have to lodge an FIR stating each and every incident with specific name of the accused persons. Further you can also file a case against her in laws for your sister maintenance

If her inlaws are troubling her, file Domestic Violence (at present) case against her with demand of dowry giving specific instances of torture with medical prescription. Try to occasion settlement in the Police station. It might clear the problems.
