hi first need to see the contents of the complaint filed against you and if you are not connected tk the allegations mentioned in the complaint then you could file quash petition in court to quash the complaint so it does not affect your employment and could obtain relief

The situation is understandable that your frustration can lead in anger especially when you are provoked by your In-laws. In your question does it affect your employment and your future employment will switch in the jobs for your future life . In most cases personal disputes especially those related to family, will not be directly effective for your job. Most IT companies conduct criminal background checks. Is an FIR registered in your name in the Police Station or not??? If the case is closed there is no issue. First you check the FIR status in the Police Station . after that consult a lawyer for quashing. If it is just a police complaint does there is no FIR means it won't impact your employment. Your job is safe unless the complaint becomes a serious legal issue or leads to a criminal record . It is best to get legal advice. stay focused on your work and keep moving forward.

Without knowing the actual conversation, it's difficult to analyse things. Also under what sec is the complaint registered... kindly share the complete details. However having said so, it won't affect your employment or any future opportunities. wishing the very best Adv. Raj
