Child abuse by alcoholic father and he is separated from his wife .

There is man. He is separated from his wife. They have a child a minor. The man is alcoholic and abuses the child everyday. By abuse I mean he hits him, gives him no food some days, drunk verbal abuse. The child has 2 aunts ready to help but the father is creating alot of issues. The mother of the child has cut all contacts and is no where ready to help the child. Can I as a third party legally help the child in any way? Is there a way to arrest or put the father of the child under this crime of abuse. The child really needs help. I’m legally related to the father. I need the child to be out of the fathers abusive environment.

In this situation if the child is ready to complain against his father then you may take him to the police station and file a proper written complaint which will be drafted by your counsel. You , as a third party, may also file a complaint before magistrate under section...

u can file a case for guardianship and get yourself declared as a legal guardian for the child provided the child likes u and is comfortable with u. u need to approach the court for the same. in case if u have any further questions, u can call me for assistance.
