from 2019 adultery is not a punishable offence but it is a good ground for divorce. if you want to punish him you have to file fir against demanding dowry by doing physical assault etc. To file this fir first you leave husband home and stay with mother's home then you can lodge fir by showing grounds demanding dowry, physical assault amounting to death etc.

What type of proof he has sent is very important . Unless and until I see , it will be very difficult to comment any thing . However if you are willing to divorce you can do it . First you try for mutual divorce .
