Change of Surname of Daughter from wife's first marriage. need help

My wife has a daughter of 12 years from her first marriage. I want to change the surname of the daughter to mine. what is the procedure

The procedure is to publish your daughter's previous name and present name in the gazette notification of Government of MP. Thereafter you can use that gazette notification to change your daughter's name in any government/private document. I can guide you regarding that. Please contact me for more details.
