change my marriage certificate/cancel my marriage certificate

I am Mexican, I got married in the city of Kharar in February of this year, when we went to register our marriage the lawyer registered us under another act, which the Mexican embassy does not accept to approve my husband's visa, I am back in India to exchange my certificate for the correct "special marriage" but no one knows where it can be canceled, they just tell us that we have to cancel this one we have to get another one. please help!

dear client as per your query since your marriage already got registered it cannot be cancelled there is another process for it which you have to follow you can consult me online by paying online consultancy fees..

hello you may choose to contact some competent advocate who is not only thorough with marriage laws but also immigration laws. in this case all you need is to get your marriage registered under the special marriage Act. even if you have registered your marriage under some other act it would not stand in your way in getting the marriage registered under the special marriage Act. if you embassy denies to accept or recognize the marriage certificate issued by the competent authority here in India you can file a case in your country seeking a writ of mandamus upon your embassy to accept the certificate and issue your husband visa accordingly. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.
