Case has been running from more than 5 years

Complaint against 5 persons Under section ipc 498(a), 494 case was filed in 2017. Complainant didn’t attend and it’s still running. It’s a family dispute and we are tired of attending without any progress. Please help further how to proceed.

hi what is the current stage of the case whether trial had started and you could file dispense and quash petition in high court to quash the case so that you cannot attend to court every time and only when your evidence is there you need to go
