Case against boyfriend's mother

I am in a relationship with my boyfriend from last 3 months. He's in Indian Air Force. I'm searching for job. Our parents knew everything about it n supported our relationship. But from 2 months his mother said so many bad things abt me.. She said she doesn't want this relationship. N trying to hamper his career.. She's threating him by saying she'll go to his office and will say that he tortured her physically mentally. Even that wasn't true.. His mother came to my home for several times n humiliated my family very badly.. She has said so many mean things abt me n also my family. She's saying she'll screw her son's career so I'll leave him.. What should I do? She mentally torturing me n my family n also my boyfriend.. Can I take any legal action. Bcoz I have few proves abt herself.. Even her recordings too..
Yes, you can surely take action against her but it will worsen things forever and your would be mother in law will have a grudge on you.
