Can wife claim for property apart from Maintenance.

Me and my wife got married in 2018, but she is in her parents house since last 1.5 years, she has filed for a maintenance case.Wife is B.Tech MBA but not working, I am B.Tech but doing a jobI have a flat of Rupees 30 Lac with my name on which all instalments are given from my salary through cheque. So can wife claim for this Flat also apart from maintenance?nWill she be entitled for this Flat also?nnPlease guide me here.

No your wife can’t claim Any right title or interest in your self acquired property ! She is only entitled if u die intestate n divorce hasn’t been executed ! U need to hire expert advocate for all Your doubts etc

Hi sir..!! She can claim that right over the flat to the extent of her share as in she can claim that you give her rental amount or equal flat, equivalent to standard of living you are having. If she claims the right over the flat then you can rebutt it.
