Can I claim share in paternal grandfathers property after his death

Dear Sir, My Father is expired my father are still alive Can i proceed for legally against my ancestral property ( My Paternal grandfather is the father Please advice

HI,
you can ask your grandfather with respect to your father's share in the ancestral property.
after arriving your father's share in the property you can ask your share in your father's share in the ancestral property
but not against the entire property.

Hi
if your father has expired, then you can proceed against your paternal grand father claiming your share of ancestral property.
A son of a pre-deceased son is a class I heir and you can claim the share of your ancestral property in accordance to Hindu succession Act.
