Can I case a file against my in laws

My life partner have extra marital affair I know when I told my in laws, they people are support my wife .ow can I case a file against my wife's parents

yes you can file case against both in laws and wife and even avail the extra marital affair details for that proper details is required so that proper guidance can be given at best interest of you, moreover whatever you will be doing you will be required to prove it in court

what is the offence committed by your in laws? first be clear that extra marital affair is not an offence at the first place especially after the apex courts pronouncement in the Joseph shine case if I'm not mistaken. so adultery is no more an offence but remains only a ground for seeking divorce. so if the act itself is not an offense supporting that act is also not an offence and there is no question of divorcing your in laws. so relax and contemplate your actions only against your wife if you think you are not ready to condone it and your wife is not ready to mend her ways. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
