Can daughters claim share in property if father died in 2008

my father was died in 2008 he has two sons and three daughters and my father wife also died in 2009 our sisters married and gone away after the death of their parents now they r asking the share in one acre does they have the equal rights to ask the share first they said to us that land is for two brothers now they r asking share how can we move

yes they are having equal share in your father's property in the absence of any will or document.
they can claim their share in your father's entire movable and immovable properties.
you settle the issue with the help of elders of your family amicably.

Subsequent to passage of Hindu succession act amendment in the year 1986 by Shri.N.T.RamaRao, In andhra pradesh, women have equal rights as men in all of the properties (including ancestral and self acquired).
Now since 2005, the legal position is that women have equal rights in all of the properties including ancestral and self acquired.
if there is no will left behind your parents, all of the legal heirs(sisters and brothers) will get equal share of the property.

Yes .daughter can claim their share in father property .as u said in your query this property was owned by your father .he died without partitions share of children .if property is be gifted to the brothers then they can't claim if not then they have share in property it's divided as per Hindu law ..or Muslim law depends on what your faith is
