Can a son pay rent to mother instead of father for rented property.

Father is having three floors factory(Father's name). Each floor is given on 25k rent. One floor is used by his son and he is paying 25k as rent to father. Can son pay rent to mother instead of father because mother is not being treated well by father and neither father gives any financial assistance to her. All are living in grand parents house.

The answer to your query is not possible. Your father being the owner of the property is the only person liable to get the rent. Rest you can separately give money to your mother. There is no provision under law through which you can pay rent to the other person than the owner itself else stated in the contract or agreement thereto.

In the grandfather's property the son has equal right to that of father and there is no need to pay rent to the father. Moreover the son can file the partition suit to get his share separately in the grandfather's property in the civil court.
