Can a minor daughter claim share in the property of father

Mother died three months before...father wants to get marriage again...has a daughter of his first wife i don't want to stay with him.how can I get share from my father property...My age is 17 years...not yet married.

No. You cannot claim any share in the self acquired property of your father till he is alive but since you are a minor, you can claim maintenance for your food,clothing,shelter and education from your father through court.

Madam you have a piquant situation and interesting. You can file petition represented by natural guardian or a next friend before court of law for partition suit for allotment of share by a preliminary decree for partition of property and allotment of share and you can get issue legal notice by engaging a lawyer.
