Can a major boy and girl marry without parents permission?

my friend and her girl friend are major. they want to get married bt the family of the girl is anot accepting the boy. what can be done
When both are major, they can marry without the permission of their parents.
When there is an oppose from the girl's family, it is better to convince them, if they didn't agree there is no other way.
Both can go to the registrar of marriages for their marriage.
They can marry in the temple and get the receipt regarding marriage and they can submit the same to the registrar of marriages for registration of marriage.

Dear Sir/Madam, as per law married, the boy should 21 and girl should 18 attained the age of majority. If they are wishes each together to marry themselves to carry on as per law but they thinking in twice before going to marriage.
