Brother trying to evict me from his house can I restrict him legally

20-Feb-2023 (In Family Law)
I am a unmarried female living in a single room situated in the property of my elder brother for the last 35 years. Now my elder brother alongwith his family members want to evict me from the said room to construct a new building. They also said me that they will cut electricity, water, bathroom if I deny. What will I do now? Whom do I approach first? Can I restrict them legally?

Look, There is no heard and fast rule that, you can enjoy others property, believe as your own's property. In you case, the Court will restrain them from evict you if you can proof that, you are permissible possessor in respect of the suit property.
A permissible Possessor in respect of the Immovable property owned a right to enjoying the land.
