Bigamy and investigation not done properly by the police
13-Dec-2023 (In Family Law)
My husband got married last year. I have filed for bigamy. I have photos of both the bride and groom sitting with varmala. But I don't have video or proofs of bigamy such as phere or sindoor ceremony. My husband and his new wife have given the statement that both are stying as live in and the ceremony was of engagement. The police have file chargesheet in court. The statement of photographer is that he gave the video of ceremony to my husband. They havent taken and submitted this video from my husband. I have few questions.
1. Can I ask the court to get the copy of the video which is the main evidence? If yes how.
2. what to do if my husband destroys that evidence as police has not collected this main evidence?
3. There were 100 people who attended the wedding. Can the court call those people to give witness.
1. Yes you can plea before the court for seizing the video.
2. If your husband destroys it then it will be in your favour as the particular photograph will prove beyond the doubt of his mala fide act.
3. Yes, court can call the witnesses but solely the discretion of the judge on the fact.

Respected mam
you stated that your husband perform the second marriage and you file a complaint bigamy against the husband and you have a great sufficient evidence against them .if police not collect the video .then you can file a protest petition before the concerned court.
