Amount taken by my brother in law for investment

Hello..My brother in law has taken money from my uncle for share market trading.I was not aware of the investment nor i have signed the agreement as a witness nor i have given surety for losses. nNow my brother in law has incurred losses and he is not able to pay thé capital back and he has left the city.Now my uncle is threatening me that he will go to police station and complaint against me bcz my brother in law is not in contact.Should i be worried, what are my rights. Please help.

hi as you had not taken any loan or money from your uncle then you need not worry and if he filed any criminal complaint also you could defend it saying that these are civil matters and police need not interfere in it
