affair with servant my mentors husband

my mentors husband had an illigal affair with the servant, when we questioned the servant she accepted it but in the absence of my mentor husband, when i personally i asked my mentors husband many times regarding this he is saying that never had a relation like that instead he is raising against my mentor that she is having relation with some one.so i want to personally meet the servant family i want to find the truth, will it be helpfull? if in case the servant family reacts on me then can i file a case against them? Please guide

If some one raises against you, you can always file criminal case against them but the whole purpose of your act looks like it will not yield any positive result. Even if your mentors husband have illegal affair, what do you get by finding this truth? you are helping your mentor to separate from her husband which will be a loss to your mentor and nothing else.
