Documents required for Court Marriage in Cuttack . Adhaar or Voter Identity Cards Matriculation / School Leaving / Birth Certificate Passport Size Photographs Residence Certificate Apply for Court Marriage in a prescribed form before the Marriage Officer / Subregistrar, Cuttack. The notice of the intending marriage will be published by the Marriage Officer / Subregistrar inviting objection to the Marriage, if any. Note that 30 days is the objection period. Marriage under Section 5 of the Special Marriage Act can only be solemnized after 30 days and before 90 days from the date of the publication of the notice of the intending marriage. On the date of solemnisation of Marriage under Section 5 of the Special Marriage Act the bride and groom are required to appear before the Marriage Officer with the original documents and 3 witnesses.
