Please elaborate your query and seek a detailed legal Consultation by getting the Will legally perused by a lawyer having expertise. Though Will can be executed on a plain piece of paper but there are certain requirements like attestation, appointment of Executor etc etc

You can challenge the document, of course, even if the document is genuine, reason being that you don't trust whether it's an original and genuine document. The genuineness of the same can only be ascertained when it is properly scrutinized and the people submitting the document are examined. Under the Muslim personal law, if the unregistered will is created, and the contents of it is giving one person additional share in inheritance property then it is not valid even though the will may be correct and genuine. Under Hindu law, if the will is proved to be genuine then it shall prevail over all rights.

Respected sir A will can be challenged at any stage, doesn't matter if it was registered or not. However, the burden of proof lies upon the party/ person challenging that will, e.g., the testator at the time of executing the said will was in a sound state of mind, etc. etc. For detailed discussion, you may consult me in that regard!
