There is no specific time limit to file charge sheet but io shall completed investigation without unnecessary delay and file charge sheet, supposed accuaed in judicial custody on that time only will rise time within 60 and 90 days IO as to be file charge sheet or else accused have powers to move bail on the same delay ground on that time court shall grant bail there is no question of rejection sec-167(2) of crpc.. alleged offences r punishable with death or life, not less than 10 on that time 90days (accused in jc) @ other below10 years punishment related cases wirhin 60days should be file charge sheet(accuaed in jc).. if you have urgency let file petition before higher court and take a direction to file charge sheet as soon as possible..

While in custody of accused chargesheet should be submitted within 90 days or otherwise no limitation but generally police will try to submit final form as soon as they can...as every senior officers regulate pending case and it's status...

usually police will try to submit with in 60-90 days . it depends on case to case for example if its 302 then they may take Little time to submit. but particularly their is no time limit. if you feel they are taking very long time you can fail a suit in court to direct to submit as early as possible .
