Can my father in law misuse senior citizen act against me as he threatened me to get me out of his self acquired house though my husband invested in it Rs20lacs. My husband is a very high earning person and bear all a to z expenses of in laws.70 percent of my husband's income in 25 yrs is spent in the interest of in laws . Nothing is invested in my name. What is my financial security?

Property belongs to your father in law ifself acquired , then he is free under the law to do anything which he wants to do with the property. However if your husband invested any amount in the aforesaid property under any legal contract then he may recover the same . Merely by bearing expenses he will not accrue any right over the property.
