My wife is engineer mba working for bank as IT manager. We hav daughter of 5 yrs. Wife is only daughter of parents. Has put false 498a on me & mother. I had sent a notice to her to come back home with daughter during mahila nivaran meetings. She ignored n filed 498a assuming me n mom will go in jail. I gt bail n done with surety in court. I did mistake by trusting my wife after marriage n bought a property 2bhk with my own money & emi and made my wife as joint aggrement in property. I hav told in mahila nivaran and in court during i am ready to call her back and do mediation. But she says in court her life ia in danger if she stay with me and my old sick mother and my paralytic father dependent on me totally.Her parents think she will get a huge amount of maintenance as i am also engineer. Sir's, my question is she eligible to get maintence? For my daughter i am ready to gv maintence but that to half me and half she. Wil i havto sell my flat n gv her half? I m nt redy to gv divorce.

No if you are having proof that she is working as IT manager in Bank then she is not entitled to get maintenance from you. As you both are well educated so you just have to contribute partly for your daughter. If entire payment of flat or EMI paid by you then keep such record with you to show in court during trail.
