Mental harassment by in laws and how to protect my marriage

Hi,
I am married since 6 yrs and hv a good relationship with my husband. My in-laws keeps taunting me about not bringing any dowry from my parents like gold and money(mother in Law in harassing since last 6 yrs). They don't stay with us but they have stopped all the contacts with me and brainwashing my husband to cut of relations with me. My question is how can I protect my marriage? Is there any legal help that I can take against my In-laws?
Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned that your in-laws are harassing you in various ways, and also they are trying to husband to go against you, and also demanding dowry, first of all try to create evidence against them in case of dowry demand and secondly if you make so make a police complaint against them, thirdly show the same to your husband assure that what the situation going, so make him understand the same, so that you can save your marriage, if not then please feel free to call me for the same.

Yes, you can file a case agains your in Laws under sec 498 a . You will have to lodge Police complaint first describing all your stories/ incidents to the police.
You can also file a domestic violence complaint and pray for protection order for any kind of mental and physical harassment. Once you will get order no one shall harass you otherwise they will be charged under criminal section of the concerned Act.
