I have filed dv n fir case against husbnd n inlaws due to physical n mental torture. Bt nw my hsbnd is sayng tat he is sry n he has chngd. Bt i wnt the case to b settled infront of court/judge. Bt since it takes a long time. I learnt abt Adalath. Bt i dnt knw wat is it n hw is the procedure in adalath. Can u explain
If you filed 498A in the FIR then it can only be done in High Court. Hence we need to file a Criminal Petition in High Court and quash the case on the basis of settlement.
