Considering the legal actions taken under Sections 498A, 504, 34 IPC, along with 406 IPC and NDPS Act against your husband, and now the discharge application filed by your father-in-law, it is crucial to approach this strategically. 1. Contesting the Discharge Application: Since your father-in-law was involved in the mental cruelty by taunting you for being barren, his role in instigating emotional abuse must be highlighted. You should present: Witness Statements (neighbors, relatives, or friends who heard such comments). Call recordings or messages proving harassment. 2. Strengthening the NDPS & 406 Case Against Husband: For the drug addiction and misuse of assets (stridhan or valuables), you should provide: Medical Reports (if available) proving addiction. Witnesses (anyone aware of his drug habits). Bank Statements (if money was misused for drugs). 3. Maintenance Case: Since your husband is not taking responsibility, his financial status must be assessed. Request the court to order his income verification. Lastly, since the father-in-law has refused support, emphasize his prior involvement in cruelty. Let the court decide based on the evidence.

Well, you can submit Documentary Evidence like Chat Records where he could be seen buying drugs from Drug Peddlars, you can submit Video Evidences where he could be seen consuming Drugs and submit such evidences to NCB to get him prosecuted!
