Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about asking questions while cross examination before the court proceedings and need permission for the same, I would like to suggest that if you had appointed a lawyer then it's his duty take cross examination and will not be allowed to do the same.

After the appointment of lawyer you can't question to the respondent or other party if you want to ask some question you have to take permission from the hon court. without lawyer you can ask questions to the opposition party, it means without appointment of a lawyer you can take the cross of opposition party. For that you have to take permission from the Honorable Court. It means you have to request to judge that you want to contest your own case and you need lawyer then judge will give you permission to contest your case and then you can take cross of your opposition party. If you already appointed a lawyer then you cannot ask questions to opposition party. At that time you give list of questions to your lover also your lawyer will ask your questions on behalf of you. examination is very difficult different so it is my suggestion you please give your question list to your lawyer let your lawyer ask the questions. If you contest your own case whithout a lawyer then it is very risky so you have to appoint lawyer and give your questions list to him/ she will do his job well ..
