28-Nov-2023 (In Documentation Law)
My father died in the year 2009 without leaving a will.He has 55 cents of agricultural land including house.we are three children all got married. Please suggest me what is the procedure for partition
Effect a registered partition deed or you can also effect partition by way of compromise before court if the partition is effected by of registered documents after getting proper sketch then the document will be valid
You will have to partition it equally among the three of you. It doesn't matter that you are married. Also, the ratio will change if you're mother is also one of the heirs.
Further information is required to ascertain the exact partition share.

Hello,
If in case your mother s alive then the entire properties of your father will be equally divided by four if not then three.
-You get partition deed registered wherein you will have to mention each one's share.
- If anyone does not want land and need money they can relinquish their right over property.
- If no one wants to retain land then all together can sell the land and divide the amount got through the sale.
- If not divide the land equally.
