What are the documents required to ship old household goods on truck

I heared that road challan is required to ship newly purchased materials on road (on truck). I have seen that supplier gives a road challan to the buyer . Many times , we need to ship old house hold goods on truck while relocating to new residence. Does the sender need to give any document to the truck driver for showing police on the road ?
Yes the sender needs to provide a letter of authority, their contact number, and a supported document like aadhar card or voter card for identity, so that if police checkpost checks them, the sender can affirm the same upon verification with police over calls.
