Wants to change name in CBSE 10th/12th Marksheet as per law

I'm Kratarth Singh Machkoria. Due to school fault, my name is only 'Kratarth Singh' in CBSE Marksheet of class 10th/12th. 'Machkoria' is also missing from both my parents name, making it different from their valid documents. I passed my 10th in 2015 and by CBSE rule the name change/correction is only valid after one year of passing 10th. My problem falls into the category of name change, correction only includes spelling, typographical, factual error. Addition/removal comes under name change which requires permission from Court of Law. I want to know how can I get it fixed as soon as possible as I'm about to give my exams again and I have to submit correct documents for higher education.

There is a simple solution to your problem but the process is tedious. Complicated by the fact that your parents certificates and documents also do not contain the surname you wish to add to your name.
So you have to follow these steps-
1. Make an affidavit on a non judicial stamp paper of minimum value which signifies your current name and the name you want to change it to.
2. File the affidavit in the Court of District Magistrate of your jurisdiction.
3. Get the name published in a newspaper with good circulation. Preferably a national one.
4. Get it published in the Official State Gazette.
5. Lastly, get your name corrected in your CBSE records and other documents by showing the publication and Court order.
