It needs to be done before a first class magistrate within the jurisdiction of the court of where you reside over an affidavit wherein you have mention that both the surnames that you have are the same person and you wish to change your surname frrom the present one to the other new one. Thereafter take xerox copies of the petition and order and produce it before the appropriate organisations for corrections of the same and moreso under any circumstances you should not hand over original certified copy of the same but it can be shown while placing the xerox copies.
