Validity of POA registered before June 2008 on 100Rs stamp paper

My Power of attorney document was on Rs.100 stamp paper and was executed on 1st Jan 2008 and registered with the SRO. In June 2008 the state government changes stamp duty to Rs500 (wef June 2008). Is the original power of attorney executed before the change in stamp duty still legally valid.
Dear Querist, the amendment with respect to the Power of Attorney was not with retrospective effect. So all the Power of Attorney executed before June 2008 on Rs 500/- stamp paper are perfectly and legally valid unless the same are revoked.
