University not correcting in name in degree and mark sheet, advise.

I Graduate from a University in U.P. in 2005 and they provided me the degree and mark sheet with the wrong surname. Now after 10 years, I found I have this issue as My visa request got rejected for the US, I contact to college and they told me to contact the university. from last 4-5 months, I have personally reached university 6-7 times but every time they told me to contact someone. Now I am assuming that they are not interested in doing that as they are asking to submit the document again and again from starting. Please let me know what should I do? How can I follow to so I get my corrected Marksheet and degree
You should hire a good lawyer who can legally intimidate the babus for doing your job and if they refuse he should be able to destroy their careers. It is the only possible way. If you want to do this yourself, I can tell you a few ways in which you can intimidate them yourself.
1. By sending legal notice.
2. Threatening to make complaint in vigilance and anti corruption department.
3. Threatening to file a criminal complaint case which may result in their suspension.
4. Using strongly worded RTIs which will frame them regardless of their answer.

Hello,
I understand your grievance at the moment, however you are suggested to approach the authorities and follow up with then through a written communication either through letter or e-mails. Even if they fail to change the name you can file a petition in the High Court for seeking the appropriate direction .
