To change my caste name in community certificate & in other documents

 I'm residing in Salem.My father belongs to BC Kongu vellala Gounder But due to some carelessness by my grandparents his community certificate is entered as BC Thuluva vellalar because of that my certificate also came as BC Thuluva vellalar.I have my mother's TC in which her community is entered as BC Kongu vellala Gounder.Can I change my caste name in my community certificate and In my school and college certificates.

Yes. You can. but it is a lengthy process. you will have to apply before the concerned Tahsildhar. attach copy of your Father's caste Certificate.give proper explanation about how it changed as that of Thuluva Vellalar instead of Kongu Vellalar

First apply to taluk office with supporting documents for both your father and you.after that,with correct community certificate on hand, you can apply for other certificate.if it is delayed, you can move to high court for direction
